Biomass Power Plant

Koray Holding is planning to commission its biomass power plant, which has an installed capacity of 10,5 MW in Manisa Salihli,Turkey in the third quarter of 2020. Electricity will be generated by burning the chicken litter to be obtained from the chicken breeders in the region, and such energy will be sold within the scope of the project.

Necessary permissions have been obtained for the biomass project, and the stages of equipment procurement and installation are ongoing. With its waste disposal license, the plant will be operated 24 hours a day, 12 months (330-340 days) a year at the operation stage.

The company’s Biomas Power Plant investment portfolio makes a major contribution to environmental protection by preventing around 71.500 tons of carbon dioxide emission per year. The electricity generated by Koray Holding’s biomas power plant has a capacity that can meet 40.000 households’ annual electricity need. Our solar energy contribution to the environment saves 173.250 trees per year.
